In September 2003 Hartmann joined the UN Global Compact, which commits Hartmann to integrate the Global Compact and its principles into strategy, culture and daily practice of it's business operations, and furthermore publish annually on the progress and in general advocate the global initiative.
Brødrene Hartmann A/S intends to retain responsibility in relation to the environment and our employees, suppliers and other stakeholders influencing the Groups sustainability performance.
An important element in this process is the standards for corporate responsibility outlined by the UN in its Global Compact initiative. Hartmann has been a participant since 2003 and we will continue our support to the UN Global Compact initiative. Hartmann is convinced that the principles contribute to the long-term value creation of the Group.
Therefore, Hartmann has adopted the UN Global Compact principles as our own and has described and specified in detail our commitment to each of the principles.
