Hartmann was one of the first businesses in Denmark to take a systematic and professional approach to environmental and social sustainability.
In 2003, Hartmann endorsed the UN Global Compact, the UN’s global forum for responsible business management. Accordingly, Hartmann is committed to integrating the fundamental principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights and environmental protection in its corporate strategy, corporate culture and business practices.
Among other measures, Hartmann has laid down ten specific principles for the group’s employee, supplier and stakeholder relations. These principles are available on the company’s website.
The Executive Board gives priority to maintaining an active dialogue with Hartmann’s stakeholders. Any form of dialogue is based on honesty and transparency. The Board of Directors ensures an active dialogue that safeguards the interests and roles of stakeholders.
