We have entered into a project by the Confederation of Danish Industry and the Danish Industry Foundation to strengthen our work with sustainability and our environmental, social and governance responsibility across our entire value chain.
In 2023, we established an technology competence centre in Kolding, Denmark, where a dedicated team will be working on designing efficient technology solutions for reducing energy consumption and related CO₂e emissions at our plants.
For more than 100 years, recycled paper - a biodegradable material - has always been the primary raw material for our moulded fibre packaging.
Our production process requires energy for drying and handling the formed material, and we are strongly committed to reducing our CO2e emissions steered by our commitment to the Science-Based Target initiative (SBTi).
While we are working intensively with all aspects of sustainability, ensuring a safe work environment and upholding human rights take priority at our facilities.
