Growing a Greener Future Together

At Hartmann, we believe that caring for our planet is just as important as caring for people. To celebrate Earth Day 2023, we joined hands with the children of the Igra kindergarten, Zmajići group, to create something truly meaningful - a vibrant flower meadow right on our company grounds.

This initiative reflects our dedication to environmental transformation and biodiversity. By planting poppies, marigolds, and other wildflowers, we not only brought beauty to our surroundings but also raised awareness of how even small actions can contribute to a healthier planet. With creativity and teamwork, the meadow was designed to proudly display the Hartmann logo in bloom.

As part of the project, a fruit tree was also planted following permaculture principles to ensure self-sustainability. Surrounded by aromatic herbs, flowering plants, and legumes that enrich the soil, the tree is given a thriving ecosystem of its own. Even recycled egg carton pieces were used to protect the soil, prevent weeds, and keep essential moisture - turning waste into a resource.

For our employees, the meadow is more than a beautiful sight. It is a daily reminder of the power of community, of teaching the next generation about sustainability, and of the small steps that together make a big difference. Because we only have one planet - and protecting it starts with us.
