Fürstenhof, Germany

The "Erzeugergemeinschaft Fürstenhof" is an association of 19 organic family farms in north-eastern Germany. The egg brand "haehnlein" was launched ten years ago - together with the chick rescue campaign. Male chicks have been reared here since 2012 and the "Fürstenhof Producers' Association" has successfully brought about a rethink in the industry as well as in politics, and among many consumers. We meet two sisters, Leonie and Annalina Behrens, who are once again vigorously promoting their heartfelt project in their anniversary year.
